Lifting Capacity
The lifting capacity of Clark forklift trucks varies according to the type. Forklifts which are battery-powered have a range from 1100-3000 kilograms, which depends on the model. For a greater capacity range, the internal combustion or IC kinds are suggested. They can lift from 1400-8000 kilograms.
Engine
AC batteries, either 48 volt or 36 volt, are utilized to operate Clark electric forklift trucks. The internal combustion or IC engine types have 52 to 100 horsepower engines. The IC or Internal Combustion types have automatic transmission with single-speed, two-speed or three-speed types.

The center of the forklift is the frame/cab assembly. This includes the operator's overhead protective cover, the seat and the controls. The frame consist of the fuel tank, engine, transmission, trans-axle and wheels.
